Michael is a medical student at Stanford with a parallel career in film and media. He is also the current Stanford–ABC News Global Health Media Fellow. This year, in addition to taking classes at the Stanford Graduate Program in Journalism, he will be working at the World Health Organization and ABC News. Prior to coming to Stanford, where he has directed films such as “The Camouflage Closet” and “After Haiyan,” Michael worked on clinical research and multimedia studies at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He holds a B.A. in film studies from Yale University.
