Katlyn is an avid and scrupulous investigative storyteller. Katlyn received her B.A. in Communication with a minor in Spanish from Stanford University in 2017. Katlyn has written about homelessness in Washington, D.C. and low-income student issues at Stanford. In her time at Stanford, Katlyn focused on language study and education. Her studies of Spanish and Hindi led her to programs in Madrid and Rajasthan. She has worked both in and out of the classroom, teaching in k-12 classrooms, doing social media work for a private sector educational platform and doing curriculum development for an educational non-profit. She hopes that her experiences with youth and cultural diversity will broaden the pool for story discovery and inform the way she crafts a narrative.
