Jeff received his B.A. in urban studies from Stanford in 2015, graduating with departmental honors and university distinction. He is interested in using data, storytelling and digital media to help people understand complex public policy issues — from economic inequality to municipal zoning. Jeff has worked with a variety of think tanks and policy research groups, where he wrote issue explainers, created infographics and built websites (which have been linked to by the New York Times, Washington Post and Salon). When he’s not delving into APIs and government reports, Jeff can usually be found practicing martial arts: he has a black belt in Aikido and a gold sash in Inayan Eskrima.
