Cade Cannedy, a coterminal student in the Stanford Journalism Program, is from the small town of Taos, New Mexico. A proud Pell Grant recipient, his main passions lie in environmental justice, American politics and philosophy. Throughout his time at Stanford, Cade has researched air pollution and its burden on disadvantaged communities for both the Bill Lane and Sean N. Parker Centers, ultimately writing an honors thesis on the topic. Through the Stanford Journalism Program, he hopes to explore coverage of environmental, governmental and public interest issues. He enjoys hiking, playing sports like rugby and reading in his spare time.
