Savanna Stewart completed a bachelor's degree in political science at Stanford University in 2022. She is originally from Twin Bridges, Montana, where she developed a love for sports, which turned into a love for sports journalism in college. She is especially passionate about using journalism to illuminate inequality in athletics and has published multiple pieces on the unique obstacles that female athletes experience. During her first four years at Stanford, Savanna was a sports writer, managing editor and the executive editor for digital media at The Stanford Daily. She has also interned at the El Paso Times, where she covered sports and news along the United States-Mexico border.
