Mengyu Dong

Mengyu Dong studied political science and history at the University of California, Berkeley, before becoming a journalist in 2016. She has conducted research and reporting for numerous publications in the U.S., U.K. and China. She is interested in documenting grassroots resistance and minority rights, as well as combating misinformation. She aspires to bring quality journalism to her audiences through open-source investigation and data-driven storytelling. Mengyu is an avid hiker and dumpling hunter.
