Krish Dev

Krish Dev graduated from New York University in 2026 with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Linguistics. There he served as Digital Director of the Washington Square News, the university's independent student newspaper, revamping its award-winning website, growing its social media audience to around 250,000 followers across platforms and spearheading the newsroom's first AI policy. He also contributed to hundreds of stories, such as an investigation into a data breach affecting 3 million NYU applicants, which was recognized by the Peter F. Collier Award for Ethics in Journalism and the Associated College Press. This past summer, Krish interned at The Seattle Times, where he helped the newspaper make sense of audience data and experiment with new ways to reach readers. He was also an AAJA VOICES fellow and scholarship recipient, presenting a multimedia project on AAPI political representation at AAJA's convention in Minneapolis. At Stanford, Krish hopes to keep bridging journalism and technology, with his long-term goal of equipping news organizations with the stories and tools they need to adapt to an evolving digital landscape.
