Elena Shao

Elena Shao is finishing in her bachelor’s in Political Science while pursuing a master’s in Journalism at Stanford, where she’s also working on improving her Arabic, French and Chinese. She’s passionate about energy transition, climate change and sustainability. She’s written for CalMatters, the San Francisco Chronicle’s business department and the Wall Street Journal’s energy team, though The Stanford Daily will always be her favorite publication.
