Connie Guglielmo

Connie Guglielmo is a longtime technology and business journalist and content strategist based in Silicon Valley.

For nearly a decade, she was editor in chief of CNET, overseeing an award-winning, international team of reporters, editors and photojournalists producing original content about the cutting edge of technology. She also served as CNET's senior vice president of AI edit strategy and as an editor at large, writing a weekly column to get consumers up to speed on the emerging world of AI. A veteran business tech journalist, she's also worked as a journalist for MacWeek, Wired, Upside, Interactive Week, Bloomberg News and Forbes, covering Apple and the big tech companies. And she held a short-stint (on purpose) as head of global communications for Hewlett-Packard, a Fortune 500 company.

She currently serves on the board of the Daily Bruin Alumni Network, supporting student journalists at the UCLA Daily Bruin, is a longtime member of the advisory board for the Center for Ethical Leadership in Media at the University of Texas, Austin’s Moody College of Communication. She also serves as an Advisory Board member for the Women in Leadership Program at the University of San Francisco, School of Management. 

She has an undergraduate degree in political science from UCLA, and a masters in communication from Stanford University. 

Connie lives in Silicon Valley with her family, a dog and two cats. She volunteers at the local library, rescuing books and encouraging people of all ages to read.
