Basel Khalaila

Basel Khalaila is a Palestinian citizen of Israel pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at Stanford University. Basel brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by his experience across politics, media, and research. His work centers on shaping public discourse, particularly in the media sphere, to amplify the voices of marginalized and Indigenous communities. He previously served four years as a chief of staff and political advisor in parliament, specializing in legislation and public policy. He has also worked in journalism and media, focusing on misinformation, public communication, and documentary production, and has published analytical articles on regional affairs.
