Nicholas’ long-standing interests in geography and international affairs led him to study Conservation at UC Berkeley. There, he wrote a thesis on the population-development dynamic in Thailand and the Philippines and contributed to a project about job creation and renewable energy. He went on to complete two international fellowships dealing with natural resource management. Now, Nicholas is focusing on the fascinating topics of science-writing and foreign policy at Stanford.
