Our program, the Department of Communication and Stanford University overall have wide networks and resources to help students with internship and job placement. Our alumni are working everywhere from The Washington Post to The Wall Street Journal to Google News to The Verge.
The Department of Communication’s internship office publicizes internship opportunities, coordinates the Rowland and Pat Rebele Digital and Print Journalism Internship Program, and accepts applications for the Daniel Pearl Memorial Journalism Internship. The department has more information on its site.
Recent recruiters who interviewed our students include The New York Times, Dallas Morning News, Bloomberg, Los Angeles Times, Gannett, San Jose Mercury News and Sacramento Bee.
